Liz loves writing international thrillers that blend global settings, intrigue, and strong protagonists. She spent the better part of a decade working for the United Nations in New York and in multiple field missions, including Syria, Mali and the Central African Republic. Liz has also worked as a teacher in the US and Japan, and she now spends her daytime in the world of security. Her experiences have given her a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of the inner workings of power in complex situations. When not writing, Liz enjoys hiking, embroidery, and getting to know other cultures, always chasing the next story idea from a new discovery or whispered secret.
